The importers are crucial. Whether its spirits, wine, beer or food trusting the importers is key to finding the best means of taking what the world has to offer and bringing it to our favorite restaurants and shops. Without them, and the knowledge they have of each local terroir we would be stuck with tourist level wines without understanding the true passion of the location and region.
